Bruiser

Batch 1

Straight out of the very first firing, and it looks like it went the distance: matte denim blue dry-brushed over speckled clay on one side, a slick of pitch black wrapped around the other, the two meeting inside along a clean diagonal like night falling across the cup. Batch one made wobbly things and brave things. This one came out swinging — took its lumps in the kiln, kept its feet, and wears the result like a title belt. Black and blue, and completely unbothered.
