Kitchen Sink
The brief, as far as anyone can reconstruct it: everything. Two pieces joined into one tall hourglass trumpet, then every glaze in the studio poured over the top in stripes — navy, sky, teal, rust, chocolate, cream — left to run, mingle, and argue all the way down to the bare clay foot. Some ran further than invited. The kiln, asked to fire the entire palette at once, let a hairline or two crackle through in protest, and the pot wears them like tour stripes. Restraint was never on the ingredient list. Nothing was.
