Lily Pond
Still green water in saucer form, dotted with cream lily pads — each one the ghost of a glaze bubble that rose, popped, and left its print behind. Toward the middle the water deepens into a small teal spring, glassy and cool enough to make you check for tadpoles. Underneath it stays barefoot cream, with a few green drips caught mid-escape at the edge.
