The Deep End
Lily Pond's braver sibling. The shallows look innocent enough — soft celadon crowded with pale bubble-prints — and then the bottom drops clean away into a well of bottle-green glass, crazed with fine crackle lines like sunlight raking the floor of the deep. Lean over the middle and you can almost feel the temperature change. No lifeguard on duty.
