The Colour Wheel
A painter's colour wheel spun in glaze: a wedge of cobalt brushed through with gold, a slice of dark chocolate, a cool wash of sage, a generous pat of butter — all turning around a caramel swirl at the centre. The outside stays quiet oatmeal speckle, save for one inky dip at the lip where the colours nearly escaped. Spin a spoon in it and pick a favourite; the bowl refuses to choose.
