Sou'wester

Batch 3

The maker's first voyage into proper rigging — spout, lid, the lot — and it came home with full sails. Royal blue streams in glossy currents down the ribbed hull to a bare-clay waterline. Up top, a half-lid sits pulled low over the opening like a sailor's rain hat, keeping the cargo shipshape while the pinched spout at the bow handles the pouring. Built for water, worn like weather gear, and carried with visible pride.
