First Frost
The first cold morning of the year, fired mid-crystal: deep denim blue crusted over with pale, prickling frost-speckle, blooming thickest where the walls curve away from the light. A thin line of winter sky rides the rim. Outside, the blue is brushed just thin enough for warm clay to glow through — ground still holding summer, under a skin of ice. Cereal has never been served so atmospherically.
