Dessert, fired at 1200 degrees: a broad stroke of espresso-dark glaze wraps a vanilla-cream cup, with one wedge of burnt caramel tucked into the dark. At the rim, a toffee band melts and drips down over the espresso like the pour just happened, and inside, butterscotch rings circle warmly to the bottom. Named for what it is clearly dreaming of holding.
