Rockpool
Cornflower-blue walls with one streak of sunlit sand swept around the middle, settling into deep sea-blue by the foot. Then lean over the rim and there it is: a still, sea-glass green rockpool, ringed with blue where the tide pooled and thought about staying. The rim drips its blue inward, like the ocean couldn't quite keep out. Best discovered barefoot.
