Sandbar

Batch 2

A pot small enough to lose in a coat pocket, holding an entire coastline: speckled sea-green laps right around a bare island of toasted clay, with blue gathering at the shoreline the way water does just before it turns deep. Inside sits a thimble-sized lagoon, and a sliver of terracotta peeks out at the foot like wet sand under the tide.
