Flagship
Twice the tonnage of the Sou'wester, and every plank of it earned. The little jug from batch three proved the rigging — spout, half-lid, handle — and this is what the shipyard launched next: deep navy hull, a band of pale spray breaking wide across the waterline, and a bottom built for open water. The half-lid still sits pulled low like weather gear, because some traditions hold across a whole fleet. The harbour has a new biggest ship. The old one, reportedly, could not be prouder.
